The London Ensemble is available in every chamber combination. The players, all leading European soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians have performed at major international festivals including the Salzburg and Vienna Festivals, the Hannover, Baden-Baden, Mecklenburg and Beethoven Festivals in Germany as well as the Edinburgh, Cheltenham, Southwark, Bath, Harrogate, Ligeti and Chichester Festivals in UK. Other highlights include appearances at Barbican Hall, Fairfield Halls, Wigmore Hall, Snape Maltings Aldeburgh, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, the Purcell Room and Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's South Bank, a performance alongside José Carreras and Dame Kiri te Kanawa at Hampton Court Palace as well as at many prestigious concert clubs throughout the UK. Recordings include broadcasts for BBC Radio 3, Classic FM and NRK as well as for such labels as Sony Classical, Naxos, Warner Chappell and Universal Music. Future plans include a new series of recordings for Worldwide Artists under the name 'Chamber Music Classics' as well as concerts in Norway, Serbia and the United Kingdom. Programmes can include compositions demanding variable numbers of players and repertoire encompasses baroque, classical, romantic and 20th century masterpieces. |
